Got the World by the Tail

Got the World by the Tail

“Got the World by the Tail” Oil 70 x 48 by Wenthy Joan Wood - Wenthy’s painting features her daughter, Kristin, as a young girl washing and caring for her personal airplane, much as  a youngster would care for a horse.

This girl lives in a residential airpark where each home shares  taxiway access to a paved lighted airstrip. Here families enjoy the convenience of using airplanes for everyday air travel.

In the background is the attractive residence with an adjoining hangar that houses the family's flying station wagon for longer trips.

Wenthy says, “We must teach our children how to live in the “Air Age”, to completely utilize the ocean of air around us that touches every place on Earth.”
